ClubWorx is
growing again
with a
$500,000+
expansion.
Exciting new
plans include:
|
- Adding a second floor over the juice bar and Back in Action Physical Therapy. This floor will house a new
multi-purpose studio for more group fitness classes and new programs for
your "tween-aged” kids.
- Installing a new elevator for easy access to ALL the cardio equipment on the mezzanine as well as the new studio.
- Expanding the Children’s Center with an all new separate "tween” area complete with Xbox and Wii stations as well as a TV and computer
stations for the kids to have fun, do homework or just relax. There
will also be a fully enclosed infant area that will keep the babies
separated from older children and the toddler section will be getting
bigger too!
- Building a completely modern juice bar and changing out our smoothie line to an all new natural line of smoothie products. Not only will
they taste great, they will be great for you!
- Constructing a separate Birthday Party Room. Conveniently located right off the indoor pool area, the renovated area will be a great
private spot dedicated to your child’s birthday party.
- Painting the pool deck and installing a heater for the breezeway in between the pools.
- Expanding Back in Action Physical Therapy into our existing lobby space.

Frequently
Asked
Questions:
|
When will the construction start? Any time after next Saturday,
November 5th
How long will it take? Estimated construction time is 150 days from start to finish, but it
will not all be happening at one time. A temporary wall will be built
in the lobby next week and will come down after construction of the
first phase is done. The juice bar should be done in early January, the
second floor finished in February, followed by the Children’s Center
and finally the Birthday Party Room.
Will there be any changes to hours or schedules? We don’t anticipate any major disruptions, but we may need to move
things around a bit. Some of the work will be done at night after the
club closes. As we get going we will have a better idea. We may need
to close the pool on a weekend or two in November to paint the pool
deck. Please reference the schedules and events calendar on our
website, www.clubworx.net, for the most up to date information.
Are there services or programs that won’t be available during construction? Unfortunately. The juice bar won’t be in operation, the tanning beds
will be out of service, the equipment in the lobby for children will no
longer be available and the vending machine in the lobby will be gone.
The cooler will still be in the lobby.
Will Back in Action Physical Therapy stay open during the construction? Absolutely. They will need to move out of their clinic and relocate
into the space in between the locker rooms. Temporary walls will be
built for them so the hallway in between the locker rooms will not be
accessible until they are moved back in to their new space.
What will happen to the equipment in the lobby before the elevator is finished? The Upper Body Ergometer, a recumbent bike and the elliptical
cross-trainer will be moved onto the weight room floor. We will
temporarily move one of the smith machines out of the weight room to
make room for these cardio pieces.
Will it be noisy and dusty? There
will be times at which the construction will be loud. Most of the
extremely noisy construction will be done overnight. While we will do
our best to control the dust, we anticipate that the club will have
times where it could get dusty. Our cleaning schedule will be beefed up
during this period to try to keep up with the anticipated need for
extra cleaning.
Are my membership dues going to increase? No.
ClubWorx has not raised rates for existing members since the club
opened over 10 years ago and has no plans to increase existing member
rates at this time.
Will there be an increase in the Children’s Center fees? Yes.
When the construction is complete we will be slightly increasing the
unlimited monthly Children’s Center fee to $19 per month. The daily fee
will increase to $3 for the first child, but the additional children
will still be only $1. |
